Split a receipt between people
A receipt can now be split by line item or by an even share, and each person’s total is kept alongside the original.
The full amount stays visible next to what you actually paid, so the entry still matches the paper.
Exports carry a split column, and the web app can filter on it.

Rotation, francs, and a camera crash
Amounts printed as “CHF 41.20” no longer lose the decimal separator on faint thermal paper.
Photos taken in landscape on Android are rotated before Slip reads them, not after.
Fixed a crash on iOS 18.2 when a receipt was opened while the camera sheet was still closing.

Statements read from PDF
Slip reads monthly statement PDFs from Revolut, N26, Monzo and Millennium bcp, and matches the lines against receipts you already have.
Matched lines are marked. Unmatched lines stay in their own list rather than being quietly merged into your history.
The PDF is deleted once it has been read, unless you keep a copy. Deleting a statement later leaves the receipts it matched untouched.

Search holds up on long histories
Search in the web app returns results in under a second on accounts holding more than 20,000 receipts.
Merchant names match on partial words, so “contin” finds Continente.
Date filters accept a typed range such as “Mar–Jun 2026” next to the picker.

Feature
A forwarding address for email receipts
Every account now has a private forwarding address. Send a receipt email to it and Slip files the receipt, not the message around it.
Airline and hotel confirmations are filed as two entries when the booking date and the payment date differ.
Forwarding can be switched off at any time, and the address can be rotated if it ends up somewhere you didn’t intend.

Android 15, and a smaller download
Slip uses the Android 15 photo picker, so the app asks for one image instead of the whole library.
The Android download is 38 MB, down from 61 MB, after the on-device reading model was rebuilt.
Support for Safari 15 in the web app has ended. Safari 16 and later are unaffected.

Cleanup after the 2.0 release
Receipts filed in the first hour after upgrading could appear twice in the month view. Duplicates are merged on the next sync.
German receipts that use “Summe” as the total line are read correctly again.
The export sheet no longer times out on ranges longer than 24 months.

Categories can be renamed, merged and reordered, and Slip applies the change from the next receipt onward rather than rewriting your history.
A receipt can be moved to another category from the month view without opening it.
Category totals in the web app show how many receipts sit behind each figure.

Slip reads receipts in Portuguese and Spanish, including the NIF line and VAT broken out by rate.
A total written as “41,20” is read as 41.20, and the receipt keeps its original formatting.
Names from Portuguese supermarket chains are matched against a local list, so “PINGO DOCE 3271” files as Pingo Doce.
